STANDARDSSIA

SIA licensing

The Security Industry Authority licenses people who work in private security. Every Rhema officer holds a current SIA licence for the work they do: security guarding or door supervision.

  • A licence is personal to the officer and carries a unique number.
  • Door supervision licences also cover security guarding work.
  • Anyone can check that a licence is current on the SIA's public register.
